Do you only shoot brands?

I primarily shoot for brands and or influencers. I like to keep most of my work through my branded contract, but do take bookings for “one off” shoots for smaller brands, athletes, and influencers. I rarely accept bookings for Family and Weddings anymore, it is just not the direction I want to go.

Do you shoot outside of Southern California?

I primarily serve San Diego, Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles. I do accept bookings outside but it comes with a fee. Fees may include “Gas & Miles” if I have to drive, “Flights” I will need flight to be covered both ways, “Vehicle” if there is no dedicated person to drive me during my stay a Car Rental or UBER fee will be added, “Lodge” if I have to spend the night due to the booking the client must cover a decent hotel (I do not stay at MOTEL 6 or adjacent), “Permits” if necessary to shoot on location, and/or “Rentals” if the production requires special equipment.

Do you pay your models?

I always try to get my models paid. Most of my clients have great budgets for models. There are cases where models have “Trade” opportunities, they model at no financial cost but receive quality images along with some product from the brands, as well as feature in social media posts with their accounts tagged. For my paid shoots, my model rate average varies from $75-300/hr depending on the model’s experience and social reach. I usually book for 2-4 hours and pay the same day of the shoot.

How do you deliver photos? Do you print photos?

All my photos are delivered through DropBox. If you are downloading photos to your phone, it helps to have the app in order to download in full resolution. I do not offer printing services, but can license personal prints. Printing in a publication is separate, you will have to request licensing to print in a publication from me.

So even if I paid for a shoot, you still own the photos?

My standard rate does come with license of for social media and web. Licenses for publication or use in television or ads can be requested. My work can not be submitted to a stock image website, if you submit my work, I will pursue legal action. If you would like to purchase the rights to a specific image or set from me, I will gladly consider for a fee. While I hold the rights to my photos, I do not allow re-editing of my images, unless specified by me.

I want to be a model, what can I do?

Everyone wants to be a model but many still don’t know how to get started. I am available for booking to help start or build your portfolio. I also take modeling submissions for people interested in modeling for one of my client shoots. Some shoots are paid and others are for trade. I also provide basic portfolio services, for those who already have content but do not know how to put it all together.
